Meet Mad

The Mad Haus Design Co | About The Artist

Hi! I’m Madison - and welcome to my Mad Haus.

Here’s a little story of where this all began….

I was born in Bozeman, Montana in the early 90s - back when it had 20,000 people and a mountain town magic that still whispers there today. My family has called Montana home for over a century, and I’m proud to have the Wild West running deep in my veins.

I come from a long line of creators — painters, welders, photographers, woodworkers, chefs, and full-time artists who taught me that building something with your hands is sacred work. My mom would sew clothes and sell them at local farmers markets. Her father had a talent for more mediums than I can count. My dad can build anything. His father is the reason I love wood burning. My sister showed me the essence of capturing a moment on film and my Aunt Shelly showed me what it means to live boldly and create fearlessly. I owe everything to them — they didn’t just support me, they sparked me.

In 2014, I started selling beaded bracelets on Etsy after my aunt taught me how to craft them with fishing line. From there, the fire spread.

I broke down old bike chains to make earrings, stitched beaded fringe onto my favorite worn-out bandanas, painted every plant pot in sight. I didn’t always know where I was going, I just knew I had to keep creating.

The Mad Haus is the evolution of that fire — a collection of handmade grit and intention, stitched with soul & weaved with wanderings. Everything I make carries a little bit of Montana, a touch of desert sand, a splash of the ocean, and a whole lot of my heart. This isn’t about trends. This is about spirit, grit, and staying true to yourself.

Thank you for being here - See you out there my friends
